which was established on the 4th January 2010 after five months of refurbishment to the pub, kitchen and dining areas to provide improved same-level facilities with easy wheelchair access

Our Kitchen Team look forward to cooking for you and are anxious to receive your comments and discuss how we can make your visits pleasurable and memorable dining experiences.

If you have any special requirements, have a chat any member of the Team who is sure to suggest something that you will find tempting and tasteful.

Our reputation for superb a la carte dining (see our sample menus) is spreading far and wide and there are always vegetarian options available. Our family-friendly Sunday lunches are also extremely popular.

To avoid disappointment, please call in or telephone to book for the restaurant as far in advance as possible. Our a la carte menu is also available in the bars, even if the Anvil Restaurant is fully booked.

Complementing the Anvil Restaurant, our splendid bar meals and specials are also available throughout the week (and on Monday evenings when the Restaurant is not open) – see our opening times.

At the Farriers Arms we support our local businesses by sourcing as much fresh produce as we can locally: all our meat comes from local suppliers; our fresh fruit and vegetables from Bank Farm of Aldington and most of our Cheeses are sourced from Kent.

We do our utmost to ensure our guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience, so if you have any special requests, such as dietary requirements, please don’t hesitate to speak to one of our team –preferably when booking. We welcome your comments.
